File a correction or addition
Manhattan Trust is independently run. The fastest way to keep a record accurate is to send us a short note with the listing URL and what is wrong — we read everything ourselves.
What we will fix on request
- Closed offices. If a firm has retired or merged, send the listing URL and we will mark the entry closed.
- Wrong contact details. Phone, address, or website rebuilds — send the corrected source so we can verify.
- Practice scope changes. If a firm has dropped or added a practice area, point us to the page that confirms it.
- Removal requests. Firms that prefer not to appear can ask for removal in writing — we honor it within a week.
What we cannot do
We do not write reviews, broker referrals, comment on legal-fee disputes, or pass messages between firms and prospective clients. State bar associations handle attorney conduct complaints; please use those channels for anything beyond a listing-data correction.
Where to send it
What to include in the message
- The listing URL on this site (or the firm name and city).
- The specific change requested — exact field, exact wording.
- A public source we can verify against (state bar profile, firm's own page, Google Maps listing).
- If you are asking on behalf of a firm, a way to confirm authorization (firm-domain email is the easiest).
Estate planning is jurisdictional. We do not give legal advice or recommend a firm for a specific matter. For licensure, ethics, or malpractice questions, contact your state bar association directly.
